OMAR’s mission is to contribute to humanitarian mine action and advocacy activities in Afghanistan in particular and worldwide in general. In doing so, OMAR contributes to making the land safe from the threat of landmines this enables:

• Safe returns of families displaced from the cause of mine back to their home towns.
• Resumption of normal life and essential economic rehabilitation and development activities.
